Declaration & Agreement

By submitting this application, I declare and agree that:

  1. I have paid or will pay the non-refundable Application Fee of K300.
  2. My admission is subject to final review and approval by the Board of Directors.
  3. I agree to purchase a minimum of Two (2) Shares at K1,100 per share (K2,200 total minimum capital).
  4. I agree to pay the remaining share balance within six (6) months from the date of admission.
  5. Failure to pay for the full two shares within 6 months shall result in immediate nullification of my membership.
  6. I shall not hold more than 20% of the total paid-up share capital of the Society at any given time.
  7. I agree to pay an Annual Membership Contribution of K500, or such other amount as determined by the General Meeting.
  8. I authorize the Society to use my Savings Account as a Member's Trading Account as per By-law 4.05.
  9. I will observe and comply with the Co-operative Societies Act, Regulations, the Society's By-laws, and all Resolutions passed at General Meetings.
  10. My full membership rights apply ONLY after paying the full minimum of two (2) shares.
  11. This Agreement shall be governed by the Laws of Zambia.
  12. The information I have provided is true and correct.

Annual Contributions

Members are required to pay an Annual Membership Contribution of K500 (or as determined by the General Meeting) in addition to share capital.

Surplus Distribution

Surpluses follow statutory allocations including a 25% Reserve Fund and 15% Education Fund allocation, with remaining distributions to members as dividends.
